Its been a Roller Coaster ride from Hell over here at Puffy Paws.
As you
know Code enforcement shut down the business aspect of Puffy Paws on Lakeview Lane.
They could not touch the kitties.
We are adjusting very well to those new changes, we have put into effect new rules and the way we operate so that
we are in compliance.
Its hard and it does make life more difficult for us, especially on Chrissy but we are getting
it done.
The kitties are safe and are being very well taken care of each and every day.
The still live with
us in the home on Lakeview Lane and it will always be their " Haven " from the evils of this world !
This
is the second time an evil person has tried to get us shut down and as soon as the rats called code,the County followed up
right away and told us what we can and cannot do.
FOOL ME ONCE .........
Folk's I just want to know why this Community
is the way it is?
Look at were the majority of the donation dollars goes to in this town and who the media supports.
The
kitties feel if an EARS dog farted that will be front page news and not the fact, according to two government reports out
of $310, 544 dollars, only $3,009 dollars went directly to the animals and another $300,000 dollars was allegedly embezzled.
So
out of $610,000 only $3009.00 went to the animals ! Somebody should be wearing a nice orange jump suit very soon and the Board
of Director should be ran out of town.
Now EARS has a new Executive Director, Dee Ann Roberts, so if and when
she gets rid of their current Board of Directors nothing is going to really change. Is it ?

will be hard at work with the help of the local media getting your hard earn dough
They will always be the local -
" Media Darlings ".
Of course the new folks in charge will be very sorry for what happen to
almost a million dollars. But hey, lets try that again.
You
can write the check out to EARS.........
For what ? The animals ? Suckers ! No way , mark my words....Fund
raising, administration cost and salaries will be getting the bulk of your donation dollars once again.
If
you have not realize that EARS is about fund raising events,fancy parties,fine wine and food and getting their pictures in
the newspaper than you are moron and you should donate to them.
Just look at their Web site and see all
the pretty people dressed up to party on your donation buck even after they went broke !
If you donate to
them you deserve to lose your money like everyone did the first around time because no one did their homework !
The
sad thing is this group of selfish people really hurt the animals and the people in this Community.This Community and the
local media let this happen and it will happen again.
It will be business as usual with Puffy Paws in the background,doing the
real work in helping the unwanted kitties of the community with no high dollar donations or glory.
Once again we will
be getting the phone calls to take in people cats because EARS said " NO " !
And EARS will be
getting all the glory and money and throwing wonderful parties and fund-raising events for their salaries for a foster base
program. I never knew a foster base program needed so much money. Have you see any plans to build a Sanctuary,lately. But
hey,I love those shoes and whats on Direct TV tonight ?
The kitties know that the local media will be sucking up to EARS once more
and sponsoring their major events.
You will be giving them your hard earn dough thinking its for the animals but will you look
were your money is really going to ?
Puffy Paws will be doing all the work for the unwanted kitties of the community
once again.
If the " NEW EARS" really wants to get along with Puffy Paws, they might want to
change their name of their Commercial Pet Store, like we been asking them to do.
They never did and never will care about
all the damage that it has caused us. If they do not change their name it will be
the same old , same old ! Everyday I will be telling some confused
soul that we are not them. I will be watching their every step.
They can fool you but they will never fool us. A leopard never changes
his spots.
IF WE DID WHAT THEY DID !
Now what will happen
if Puffy Paws Kitty Haven took in almost a million dollars from the Community and never did what we said we were going to
do with the money ?
What happen if we spent it on ourselves instead of the kitties ?
Now what if we put down thousands of animals a year ?
Will
you still supported us and give us another dime?
Hell No !
You would have closed us down and put us in prison.
But did you know
this Community has given millions of dollars over the years to the leader of euthanasia of cats and
dogs in the area.
Why don't you ask this group how many dogs and cats they kill each and every year when they
start to brag about their other programs and accomplishments.
A puppy and or kitten that was put down really does not care about a "
4 Star Rating " !.
Why don't they publish all those euthanasia numbers weekly and not just
their adoption numbers ?
Just ask them to be honest.
We all have
choices and they chosen to be in the business of death.
If they were not in the business of death than why do they have a huge
commercial freezer for all the dead animals they put down.
Whats "Humane " about killing adoptable pets ?
Its
one thing if you are humble and are very sorry when you are putting down other people pets but to have an air of arrogance.
Wow !
I actually had a kind hearted senior in tears, telling me about the bad experiences that she had giving up her pets
to this group, thinking that they will be adopted out with the donation she gave them and only finding out later they put
them down.
I had children tell me "They Killed My Pet".
And you know what is sicker ?
This community supports them with over a million of dollars in donations.
The community and
media looks the other way when it comes to to the killing of adoptable dogs and cats. Can you say " Ring Worm "
!
Than their are many folks who think that they are "No-Kill ' Why is that !
From day one I was
told that animal rescue was a cut throat business and other groups do not want us around because we are taking funds away
from them.
We did not believe this.
So Chrissy and I went out to meet and greet the " Animal Shelter's
& Rescue Royalty ".
These folks who told us it was
a back stabbing business were right.
Word got back to us that
one of the "Kings" was tooting his horn and telling folks he had disdain for our collection bank which was next
to his.
You know what is funny ? When you need to
give up your cat.
Folks calls Puffy Paws Kitty Haven. These people do not want to gamble their cats life by taking them down to the
Open Admission Shelter.
Do you know why they never turned away an animal ?
That’s because they have a killing machine set up, so that may do
away with the unadoptable ones or when they do not have room they can put your pet down or the lucky ones makes it to the
adoption floor and they stay their unless they get sick.
Why do you think we said " Yes ",
to take in the community's kittens, old cats and special need kitties, even when they came in with no donation - " TO
KEEP THEM ALIVE AND OUT OF THE HANDS OF A COMMUNITY SUPPORTED DEATH MACHINE " .
You see these Open
Admission Shelter's wants us - "No - Kills" to change our name to a Limit Admission Shelter.
Folk's I will make
a deal, the day this group shows us one ounce of respect , stop trashing our banks and pays our bills and change their name
to " A Community Supported Killing Machine " - Puffy Paws will stop saying who we are - "A No-Kill
Cat Rescue ".
Here at Puffy Paws Kitty Haven we do not put down any animals for behavior problems, space
or adopt-ability issues. Yet Puffy Paws Kitty Haven never has and never will let any kitty suffer with any medical condition
that only allows pain & suffering and no chance of survival.
We realize that their is outside forces who believe that their is no such thing as " No-Kill" .
No Kill
sheltering models, based on innovative, non-lethal programs and services, have already saved the lives of tens of thousands
of animals.
But instead of embracing No Kill,
many shelters—and their national agency allies—cling to their failed models of the past, models that result in
the killing of millions of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters every year.
Here at Puffy
Paws Kitty Haven we wish not to be drawn into public controversy over our " No-Kill "statues,
we only wish to save the lives of the unwanted kitties of the Community.

have secured the "humane.cc " domain name.
Currently
the domain takes you to Puffy Paws Kitty Haven Web site but we are in the middle of creating a new site for what we consider
" Humane " to be , in practicing our " No-Kill mission ".
CAN
YOU EARS ME NOW !
What most folks found out this summer was that if they called EARS to
take their cat. EARS told you "No" and gave out our number and we took the kitty in.
And when I called the media this summer and told them that EARS was not taking in cats but instead EARS gave our phone number
out, I was treated like I had Swine Flu.
EARS continues to be the " Media Darlings " even after according

So I say to this community keep being
a dumb donor and keep supporting your local killing machine and keep on paying for other folks to live high off the hog on
your donation dollar
Or support Puffy Paws Kitty Haven, a real no-kill cat rescue, which is
staffed by all volunteers.
Remember the other guys wants you to stay dumb so you may keep writing
those checks to support the killing and paying those high salaries,administrative & fund raising costs !
Here
at Puffy Paws we know that some folks wants us to go away and the local government cooperated in a heart beat with these rats
who called Code on us.
I just want to know why did it almost take a year for the County to get the two crack houses out of our neighborhood
and us 24 hours.
I guess its easier to close a Cathouse
than a Crackhouse in South West Florida.
This little set back will not stop us. We are doing what we need to do
for the unwanted kitties. And without your help this would not be possible and we thank each and everyone of you.
