The Florida Power & Lights Bill
Runs Between $500 - $800 A Month

One of our main problems at Puffy Paws has been the power bill. We have been on the nightly-news twice because of the inability to pay the bill and we needed to reach out to the community for help.It all had a happy ending but we still stuggle to pay the FPL each month.

We have two  AC / Heat units. One is on the 2000 sq foot " Haven ". And the second one is on our second building which is 800 sq foot and is refereed to the Kitty Angel Club .

In the summer of 2009, we replaced the AC unit in the " Haven Home ". Due to the fact that the installer replaced our unit with a inferior model this has only has lowered our power bill by $50 dollars a month.

The Kitty Angle's Club AC/Heat Unit needs replacement before the summer of 2010 begins.  Once again we have to wait until we can get the funds to replace the units.

But as of now we are in desperate need of funds to pay the FPL bill on a monthly basics.
