What a great Adoptathon, we had on Saturday June 7th, 2008, at  Mike’s  Pet Store in Englewood. DJ Gary D’Amico spined some serious tunes to the delight of the folks who came out for a fur-ever friend. As a matter of fact 5 kittens where adopted out ! Yeah

The normal adoption fee of $72 was cut in half to $36 for all kittens. Thanks to the Synder Law Group, who will donate the difference to Puffy Paws Kitty Haven.

We have a great team of volunteers who made this event happen.A great big thank you from the bottom of the kitties heart!

Also include in the slide show this week is the progress we are making in clearing the land for getting the kitties outside, our junk car endeavors to support the kitties and an anonymous secret admirer of the kitties who left some goodies on our doorstep on Monday. A big thank you to that special person!

NOT JUST A CAT BUT A FRIEND FOR LIFE
By Rick Kingston

As we know the whole world is into brand names, Starbucks, Gucci and now Puffy Paws. That’s right Puffy Paws Kitty Haven. Because the kitties have told me to jump on the marketing bandwagon, so here we go. When you adopt a kitty from Puffy Paws Kitty Haven you are not just getting a cat you are getting a friend for life.

Our kitties are the best kitties around to love fur-ever. And if you are thinking about adopting a kitten (We have 20 Cute Kittens For Adoption) or kitty this weekend, I will tell you why a Puffy Paws Kitty is the best match for you.

Puffy Paws Kitty Haven, kitties live in a cage less - free roaming, no kill environment.
This is huge factor when it comes to a stress free life. Also there are no barking dogs
around stressing them out, but keep in mind that some of the kitties told me that they do not mind sharing a home with a smelly dog.

They live in a environment that caters to their every need, there is toys, cat trees, catnip, scratching posts , wet food, dry food, yummy treats, and some evenings at Puffy Paws there is Chicken Night, Beef Night and if I go fishing and catch a fresh fish there is Fish Night, at the Haven. The last time they had a Fish night was when gas was $2.00 a Gallon, this just goes to show you, what a great Fisherman I’m.

The kitties here at Puffy Paws have many friends and relatives here at the Haven. These kitties will never go with - out. And they are spoiled rotten because of our dire commitment to them. But most importantly they are loved in a home environment from the moment they come into the Haven.

My wife and I, are here to serve their every need. We are not into fancy titles, we just like to call ourselves “The Dumb Human Servants To The Kitties” and that is what we are.

So with all the one on one work with do with each kitty, we feel this is why our kitties are the crème of the crop to adopt.

We have kittens and kitties that come in all shapes and sizes. Big ones, small ones, declawed older kitties, lap kitties and the list goes on. If you are looking for that special friend for life consider a Puffy Paws Haven Kitty because when you come over to the Haven or go to one of our adoption events you  just might  be meeting your brand new friend for life.

You may not even know it but it can happen in a split second and the next thing you know you will have one giant lovable hair ball loving you fur-ever.

If this sounds like your cup of tea than come on out to Puffy Paws Kitty Haven - Adoptathon on Saturday June 7th, 2007. Puffy Paws Kitty Haven be holding our first major Adoptathon at, Mike’s  Pet Store in Englewood (447 S Indiana Ave), on  Saturday June 7th, 2008 from 10am - 4pm.

Their will music,  provided By DJ Gary D’Amico, and a bubble machine for the enjoyment of the kids, lots of fun and many kittens and kitties to adopt.

The normal adoption fee of  $72 will be cut in half to $36 for all kittens and kitties and Senior cats will only be $25 instead of $50. Thanks to the Synder Law Group, who will donate the difference to Puffy Paws Kitty Haven. So bring out the family and come out and adopt a friend for life.
