Ok I have had it ! What does Puffy Paws Kitty Haven have to do to get respect in this town ?

The kitties think that Puffy Paws Kitty Haven is the " Rodney Dangerfield “ of the local Animal Rescue Groups because, “ We can't get no respect ".

Two main concerns about Animal Rescue Groups nationally are
1)  Are You No Kill ?   2) Were does my donation dollar go ?

These are very valid questions and issues and we past the test with flying colors on both these issues , but locally it seems by deed and actions “ No one really cares ’

It seems like groups who do not practice what we preach are rewarded with hundred of thousands of dollars of donation dollars and massive recognition each and every year.

Facts are facts. Puffy Paws Haven  is “ No-Kill “  and we are made up of all volunteers ! What more can you ask for in a local rescue group ?

I have had people tell me to my face ‘ I don‘t care about those thing “.

Folks you mean to tell me you do not care about animals dying needlessly and your donation dollars going to administers huge salaries.

Also the fundraising cost these groups spend are in ten of thousands of dollars a year. If you do not care than shame on you.

Folks please ask yourself is my donation dollar going to support the animals or is it going to the people who are taking care of the animals ?

In the future I will give you all the tools you need to answer that question.

Well hello their !

Thanks for taking your time and stopping in to “  Rick’s Rants“ . I have always had a big New York Mouth. It seems like every day I end up putting my foot in my big mouth and why should this blog be any different.

I’m not going to change who I’m because I might offend someone or I may not be politically correct . I always spoke my mind and if people did not like it …..I quickly became paranoid over it or they try to beat me up.

But I said what I said and that’s what counts. Do you know how many people have said to me “ Rick I’m surprise someone has not killed you because of that mouth of yours “

Now I was wondering how many of you out their like the company of your pet or pets better than store clerks these days ? If you said I love store clerks and the great customer service I get these days. Well we know someone else is doing your shopping for you.

Because as you all know customer service is not what it use to be. I’m right. But our pets will love us “ fur-ever ”.

The reason why I bring this up,  I’m a professional kitty kat shopping type of guy and it seems with all the money we spend for the kitties needs we always get some type of bad customer experience every week.

Every day I go to 3 different stores or more to buy 300 pounds of kitty litter ,50 pounds of wet and 30 pounds of dry food and all the cleaning supplies.

I deal with a lots of store clerks and the majority of them are very helpful but there is that 2 percent of these folks,-  Who’s village is missing their idiots because these pathetic souls tell me to my face
 
“ I DON’T LIKE CATS -  I RATHER SEE ALL THE CATS DEAD - I USE TO KILL CATS - MY DOG KILLS CATS FOR FUN “

 This is the crazy stuff that comes out of these people mouths and when you complain to management. Their bosses stick up for them most of the time.

I wonder when some young mother is buying diapers for her baby do these idiots say

“ I DON”T LIKE KIDS - YOU SHOULD HAVE USED BIRTH CONTROL LADY - CAN YOU STOP YOUR KID FROM CRYING - PUNCH THE KID IN THE FACE FOR GOD SAKE.

No way ! Will they ever say this about a baby? No ! Because they will lose their job over this and you know what folks ? All these people who spoke such horrible things about the kitties I love, still have a job !

So what ever happen to customer service these days? 

Its seems like not only did Corporate America became greedier, they also lost their spine.
